natIgnite 2026 Registration

This year, natIgnite will take place from May 8, 2026 - May 10, 2026 in the Donadeo Innovation Centre for Engineering, 8th floor, located at the University of Alberta North Campus. natIgnite 2026 invites participants to explore the field of accessibility.

Applications close April 26. Please note that limited spots are remaining.

How to Join

  • Step 1

    Review the rules, then download, complete and sign the participation agreement digitally. You will be asked to upload the signed file in this application form.

  • Step 2

    Register by April 26th (11:59 PM MT) by filling out the registration form below. Please note that limited spots are remaining.

    The signed participation agreement must be uploaded as part of your application.

  • Step 3

    Visit the Luma page to complete your registration and submit payment information for the partially refundable $50 deposit. Your card will only be pre-authorized at this stage (no charge will be made). The deposit is only charged if you are accepted, and covers meals and snacks throughout the event.

    You will receive a confirmation email with key event information within 7 days of submitting your application.

natIgnite

As a nonprofit organization, registration fees help offset event costs and reduce no-shows and last-minute cancellations.

If the registration fee poses a financial barrier, you may apply for a subsidy for the non-refundable $25 portion here. Participants who receive a subsidy will still be required to submit the $25 refundable deposit, which is returned after participating fully in the event, as outlined in the rules. This deposit helps us ensure all participants show up and fully engage.

All information will be kept confidential and used only to assess eligibility. In some cases, applicants may be asked to provide proof of income or financial need so we can ensure that our limited subsidies are directed to those who need them most. If approved, a Luma coupon will be sent to you via email.
